We’re thrilled to celebrate our wedding with you in La Fresneda, Teruel! To make your travel planning as easy as possible, we’ve compiled some options on the best ways to get there.

For your convenience, we’ve reserved a hotel for the nights of May 16^th and 17^th , 2025. We recommend arriving on Friday May 16^th  to ensure you’re well-rested for the wedding on the 17^th. Please let us know as soon as possible if you want to stay at the hotel (see details on the home page).

• Travel Time to La Fresneda: Approximately two hours.
• If arriving on a different date to Reus, we recommend renting a car and driving to La Fresneda. The car hire companies from this airport can be found on the Aena page.

2. Arriving at Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN)

Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) offers many international connections. From El Prat, you can continue by train, bus, or rental car to reach La Fresneda.

• Option 1: Train to Zaragoza and bus to La Fresneda
  • 1. First, you will need to get from the airport to the Barcelona Sants train station. You can take a taxi or train (approx. 20 minutes). You can find more details on this page.
  • 2. Take a train from Barcelona Sants station to Zaragoza-Delicias (approx. 1.5 hours). You can find many train options in Omio.

• Option 2: Direct Car Rental
  • Drive from El Prat to La Fresneda: Rent a car from El Prat and drive approximately 2.5 hours to La Fresneda. The car hire companies from this airport can be found on the Aena page.

3. Arriving at Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD)

Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD) offers direct flights from many major cities, including the USA and the UK. You can take a train to Zaragoza from Madrid, followed by a bus or car rental to La Fresneda.

• Option 1: Train to Zaragoza and bus to La Fresneda
  • 1. First, you will need to get from the airport to the Madrid-Atocha train station. You can take a taxi, a bus, or a train (approx. 30-45 minutes). You can find more details on this page.
  • 2. Take a train from Madrid-Atocha to Zaragoza-Delicias (approx. 1.5 hours). You can find many train options in Omio.

• Option 2: Bus from the Airport to Zaragoza and bus to La Fresneda
  • 1. Take an Alsa bus from the Airport (Terminal 4) to Zaragoza-Delicias (approx. 4 hours).

• Option 3: Car Rental
  • Drive from Madrid to La Fresneda: Rent a car from Barajas and drive approximately four hours directly to La Fresneda. The car hire companies from this airport can be found on the Aena page.

4. Arriving at Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ)

Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ) is a smaller airport, often with connections through Madrid or Barcelona. From Zaragoza, La Fresneda is about 1.5 hours by car. If you fly from the UK, Ryanair has direct flights from London-Stansted (STN).

• Option 1: Bus from Zaragoza to La Fresneda
  • 1. First, you will need to get from the airport to the Zaragoza-Delicias station. You can take a taxi or a bus (approx. 10-20 minutes). You can find more details on the airporttransfer.com page. Please note that this page offers its taxi service. You may prefer to use one of the city taxis waiting at the arrivals exit. They may not speak English, but they are usually cheaper.

• Option 2: Car Rental
  • Rent a car at Zaragoza Airport for a direct drive to La Fresneda (approx. 1.5 hours). The car hire companies from this airport can be found on the Aena page.

Travelling from Zaragoza to La Fresneda

From Zaragoza-Delicias, you can take a bus with Hife to La Fresneda, transferring in Alcañiz (approx. 2 hours).

If you prefer, you can rent a car in Zaragoza-Delicias and drive to La Fresneda (approx. 1.5 hours). You can find car hire companies that operate from the station on the Adif page (you will need to click on the “Commercial Area” button and then select “Servicios” . The page seems to be in Spanglish).

Notes

• Buses and trains may require advance booking, especially during peak times.
• There is only one daily connection (Monday to Friday) from Zaragoza to La Fresneda.
• All trains and buses in Zaragoza arrive and depart from the same station. Most sites call it “Zaragoza-Delicias”, but you may also find it as “Zaragoza Intermodal”.
